Corn Hill Navigation
Corn Hill Navigation is a nonprofit organization that connects the community and visitors to Rochester’s historic waterways through authentic, guided boat experiences and educational programs.
With your support, we provide low cost or no cost field trips for thousands of area school children, as well as on the water experiences for underserved populations in our community.

A cruise aboard the Sam Patch departs from Schoen Place in the Port of Pittsford, NY. We travel west on the legendary Erie Canal.
Arriving at Lock 32 at Clover Street, we encounter one of the wonders of Erie Canal technology and a signature canal experience, as we pass through a century old lock.
Sam Patch is a replica of an 1800s packet boat. Offering meals and sleeping arrangements, packet boats were the fastest way to travel the canal, often exceeding the 4 mph speed limit!
